Sustainability in Bio-Based Cactus Materials
Sonora’s materials are cactus derived bio-based vegan leather created on a ranch in Zacatecas, Mexico. Nopal Cacti have elephant ear-shaped cactus pads that can be cut singly and harvested every 6-8 months, without killing the plant. The material are then broken down, dried and pressed with organic bio-resin dyes. The material has a high tensile strength and is highly abrasive resistant compared to animal leathers. The material is naturally soft and highly durable and guaranteed to last a long time with proper care. Bio-base plant materials like cactus are very sustainable because they require low amounts of water and no fertilizer to thrive.

All the looks and textures of "traditional" leather without animal cruelty! What a unique product, will definitely be expanding my collection of Sonora products!
I really love the green color, and the holder fits plastic cards, like a drivers lic or debit card, well. However I was hoping to use it as a business card holder and the pockets are too small. For the next iteration of the product, I would recomend making the pockets a bit larger to accomodate paper business cards, and adding a squeeze opening key or coin purse as well as a small loop to attach a key fob. I think the Sonora line has great potential. I look forward to seeing how the cactus material wears over time.
Great, durable materials that are also soft to the touch. I like my wallets slim so they’re not too bulky in my pockets and this one is perfect

I bought the senita for me and the wallet for my husband. We’re both so impressed with the quality (especially at this price point!).
